As we welcome you back to our properties in Kefalonia & Ithaca, we are committed to providing you with a safe environment that aligns with expert protocols for working to defeat COVID-19. Consisting of in-house and outside experts in food and water safety (high-quality water will ensure the reliability and efficiency of important amenities such as pools, showers, and washing machinery), hygiene and infection prevention, and hotel operations, we are redefining our cleaning and safety standards. We will actively monitor and evolve our solutions to ensure a continued focus on the health and safety of our guests and associates.
General Travel Information
Seasonal properties, villas & hotels will be open after 15th May to welcome their first guests. We will be able to accommodate guests coming from abroad as soon as charter flights will be released (direct flights to Kefalonia)
Cancellation policy
In response to changing marketplace conditions, we are committed to ensuring our customers experience flexibility during these challenging times.
A general policy states that there is a 100% surcharge when cancelling within 21 days prior to arrival or non show for bookings made for Perantzada Hotel and North Point Rooms 1953; a 100% surcharge applies when cancelling 28 days prior to arrival or non show for bookings made for North Point Houses. In case of cancellation within those time periods, we may consider transferring funds to a future booking, only in case of an unexpected and official lockdown of our or your country. In such case, you may use any given deposit for a future booking (within a 2 years’ window) but there will be no refund.
Cancellations not obliged to any fee are the ones that will be made earlier that the above mentioned periods and have not been charged or paid any deposits. In case any deposit has been paid/ charged, you keep the right to be refunded however refund might not be immediate. In such case we will issue a voucher which you will be able to use for a future booking or if you will not then any paid deposit will be refunded within maximum 18 months from the date of voucher’s issue.

House rules
Given the current concerns related to new coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19), we have established house rules that along with adequate sanitation protocols, safety methods and operation procedures guarantee the well-being of our guests during their stay with us. These rules include:
- Social distancing: please keep 2m from the person close to you when approaching any indoors help-desk (reception, bar, buffet, etc.)
- Entering and leaving our restaurant for their breakfast, our guests’ are being advised to use the hand sanitizers placed for that purpose at all our restaurants’ entrances
- Mini bar in Perantzada Hotel’s rooms will only be available to be filled in upon request
- Regularly refreshing the air throughout the hotel.
- Disinfecting all areas and surfaces constantly.
- Providing easy access to running water and soap.
- Offering an alcoholic hand cleaning solution.
- Keeping a record of all persons staying at the hotel
- Non residents will not be allowed into any rooms, even if there will be family or friends staying.
- Linen change will be taking place as usual; still you may request not to be changed if you prefer so.
- Check in time is set after 15:00 – Check out time is set the latest by 11:00
Early check in will only be available in case the allocated room will be vacant for 24h prior to your arrival – Late check out will only be available in case the allocated room will be vacant for 24h after your departure
- Special guidelines apply about the number of people using the swimming pool at the same time; please respect social distancing here as well
- Please check our websites for updates regarding our properties’ guidelines and rules relevant to COVID-19
- Kindly note that we keep records of guests’ information due to Public Health Security. Therefore we would request to have at least a contact phone number and an e-mail address.
